LAMP Summer Ministries...

 
LAMP Vacation Bible Schools...LAMP, Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots, our partner organization, sends teams of youth to northern communities to do week- long VBS's. We assist in advance by helping to organize logistics.  During the time of ministry, we are there to help encourage both the team and the community.  We also followup with contacts afterward. Teens and adult sponsors provide these VBS ministries. Approximately 150 youths minister in 7 different communities in the Hazelton area each summer.

LAMP Soccer Camps... A team of young people minister through one-week soccer camps. Soccer camps include ministry to children and teens, but emphasize the teen ministry. Devotions, campfires and other relational activities provide interaction and relationship building opportunities where teens feel free to share their lives and are ministered to by the team.

VITAL CONTACTS...Sharing in LAMP Soccer Camp ministry has provided us with the initial contacts that began our ministry here in Hazelton. Each year new relationships are established that allow us to reach more youth. This fulfills our mutual ministry goals of evangelism and discipleship ministry among first nations people.
